A biscuit with history. In a hand-written cookery book written by Richard Fuller’s daughter-in-law in the early 1830s, the recipe for how to make An Albert; was discovered. This rich pudding contained ratafia cakes made with bitter almonds, a popular 18th & 19th century flavouring. Partnering this with oats & dark chocolate has created an unusual, but delicious biscuit with a contemporary twist.
